Originally from Alhambra, CA, Matthew was raised to value hard work, dedication, and creativity.

He began performing at an early age with the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus and was part of an ensemble cast in the opera “Hansel and Gretel”, conducted by Esa-Pekka Salonen.

After successfully competing in the National Forensics League (Speech and Debate) in junior high and high school (with a focus on Humorous/Dramatic/Duo Interpretation), Matthew developed a lasting passion for the performing arts. Noteable theatrical performances include “Holes” and “Callisto V” at the Gary E. Goodson Theater.

He is currently the spokesperson/host and personality for Evike.com, and can be seen on their YouTube channel in both Hosting and Acting roles. He has guest starred on other YouTube channels as well (including Node and Corridor Digital), and is actively seeking ways to expand his acting skills beyond the hosting work at Evike.

Matthew is excited to turn his attention to film and television, and recently wrapped production on the upcoming sci-fi feature film “Agent 2” (2018), directed by Derek Ting, in which he plays one of the main characters of the film.
